Universal Building Systems Plc specialise in supplying a range of aircraft hangars. Hangars are available in nested 'T' hangar configurations and also Clearspan designs and are suited to both single and twin engine aircraft.

nested 'T' Hangars
Standard Nested 'T' Hangar
The Standard Nested ‘T’ configuration produces a narrower, longer building than
the Full Nested ‘T’. Often used on sites with existing taxiways and where building
depths are a factor. This configuration is frequently used with sliding doors and can be opened without affecting access to adjacent hangars - up to 10 'T's in one hangar.
Full Nested 'T' Hangar
The Full Nested ‘T’ results in a wider and shorter building than the Standard ‘T’ thus optimising available ground space and minimising site and taxiway costs. This configuration produces larger end units or storage areas which can be equipped with bi-fold or sliding doors - up to 10 'T's in one hangar.
Clearspan Hangars
The Clearspan series of rectangular hangars utilise an open web joist structure, resulting in a larger column free floor plan. On average thesehangars provide 1/3 more floor space than typical ‘T’ Hangar units. Because doors open to a single side of the building thesemodels are popular in areas where access to the rear is limited.
We generally supply nested hangars in a single building of 10 units using 26 gauge steel sheeting with steel or galvanized painted gutter and downspouts. All flashings are weather tight of not less than 26 gauge with same finish as the roof and wall panels.

Our aviation hangars are suitable for fixed base operations, maintenance facilities, sales/service hangars and passenger waiting areas.
‘T’ FOR TWO
To maximize the hangar space we can install our AirLift which enables two aircraft to be stored in each ‘T’. The AirLift is strong, reliable and safe and can lift 98% of all single-engine, piston light aircraft. Aircraft can be lifted 8 feet above the hangar floor and will provide a full 8 feet of clearance for the vertical stabiliser on its nest mate.
Alternatively, if the AirLift is not installed we can offer a mezannine floor to cover over 1/3rd of hangar area over the narrow section to the rear.
